The decorative screen pictured above was designed and hand crafted in the style of neo-deco by Ruben Caruana; approximate measurement 213cm x 196cm. This window is encased into a 28mm double glazed system and it is encapsulated using 4mm toughened glass, and it is the largest encapsulated single panelled feature screen ever made in the world! The benefits of this system allow decorative enhancements to restaurant features and many other commercial locations; and it also conforms to present day health & safety regulations.
Leadlight Encapsulators are also proud to present our latest unique pieces of art; a 182cm x 122cm one piece encapsulated leadlight window. These giant leadlight windows can be used in newly built properties as stairwells or centrepiece windows with a design of the customer's choice, where there are more than one floor in the building we are able to create a series of leadlight windows with a different design in each one. There are many other ways these feature encapsulated windows can be used, for example, Restaurants are enquiring about having a leadlight window with their logo in, it's the same for Pubs, Clubs and Hotels too, plus Golf Courses have shown a big interest in our giant encapsulated screens to have outside their golf clubs, they come with a free standing metal frame that is fixed into the ground.

Ruben Caruana started designing and working with glass commercially in the early 70's; he has numerous achievements to his credit and has exhibited his work in both New York and Miami. He is one of the leading exponents in the encapsulation of traditional leadlight windows and he continues to push the boundaries in this field because many of his clients seek statement pieces to enhance their premises. Currently, Ruben and his team are undertaking a replica of the Frank Lloyd Wright "Tree of Life" design. Rubens work is currently very much sought after and as such he is able to produce many seminal art pieces, and due to the advancements made in laminating traditional leadlights, we have seen an interest from many architects and interior designers wishing to personalise their work and offer their clients something unique.
